I was outside with the girls the other day watching them chase each other on their bikes. I remember loving the thrill of being chased. I'm sure things like that and spinning till I fell over kept me busy for many hours as a kid! :)
Me: Kawika, will you help me wrap these potatoes in foil? Kawika:Mom, I'm not very good with foil. Me: I don't think it requires a lot of skill :)
Kalei: Mom! This is where my favorite park is supposed to be!(The playground near us was taken down)
Me: "Kalei, you need to eat your chicken pot pie." Kaili:"She doesn't like fruity stuff."
Kalei: "Mom, my foot hurts." Me: "Why do you think it hurts?" Kalei: "Because I watch too much tv." Glad we cleared that up.
Kalei was laying next to me while I was trying to go to sleep and pulling on my nose and saying "honk". Annoyed, I finally said "That's enough". Kalei looks at me and says "Only one more honk, okay?"
Kaili: Mom, did this chicken come from a turkey?
As I was putting Kalei to bed the other night while we camping Kalei wanted her head covered up and I said "No you won't be able to breathe." Her response was "I don't want to breathe." Minor detail
