Flagstaff

Dave and I had the opportunity to hike through a lava tube in Flagstaff. I get claustrophobic and was worried about going down in there but it actually wasn't bad at all. It opens up and it one spot the ceiling is 30 feet high. When we got down there we turned off our flashlights and you could feel the darkness. I couldn't even see my hand if front of my face.

Then we went and rode the ski lift at Snow Bowl. The views were breathtaking. The entire ride was 50 minutes and it was so relaxing.

A lava tube hike would be cool! I get a little claustrophobic too though. The views from the ski lift look amazing. What a great adventure!

I want to be in your family! You guys are so fun! You should try Oracle Caves, a mud cave near Tucson. It's lots of fun!

Hanu & Dave! You probably don't even remember me but I'm Mike's sister, Heather. I just remember meeting you in Hawaii and thinking that someday I wanted to have a husband just like Dave and cute kids just like Kawika. haha. And Hanu...you always were someone I looked up to. It's funny how you don't realize what an effect you had on someone sometimes. But your family really did stand out to me. And you all look so skinny!!!! and healthy!!! and happy too! We really fell in love with mom & dad K. and they always told us about your family updates. so we feel like we know you. haha. love ya! --Heather,Jake, & Jadin--

Hey Kahanu,
Of course I remember you guys. How are you doing? Your kids are cute! After i saw your comment, it clicked that it was your sister that I saw yesterday. Anyhow, hope you are all doing well. We're glad to be home for a while, but we actually do miss arizona.

Kahanu! oh my gosh, how fun to find your blog! It's amazing how beautiful your family is and how much everyone has grown! I think the last time I saw you guys in person was when Kawika was a baby! We get updates from your family, but how fun to get updates on your blog. Looks like you guys are doing fabulous. Mark was so excited when he saw you guys...
